月曜日、いつものように病院へ行って尿酸値を調べて貰いました。血液検査をしたのですが、なぜかCPKという値が正常値を僅かに超えています。（尿酸値自体は何とか正常値の範囲内でした。）診察してくれた先生は「運動とかしましたか？」と聞くので、そういえば先週は太極拳の練習を毎日やっていましたと答えました。前日の日曜日に石川県の大会があり、金沢市の代表選手として（えへん）競技に参加したのです。（そもそもの予選のときに5人しか出なくて、うち4人が県大会に進んだことは内緒です。）県大会にはほぼ毎年（この10年くらい）参加していましたが、ずっと下位クラスでした。しかし今年はじめて（！）中級クラスといってよいところまで行けたのです。（うふ。）（有力選手の欠席が多かったことは秘密です。）県大会に備えて毎朝・毎晩太極拳の練習をしていましたから、そのせいで筋肉を酷使したようです。そういう事情でCPKの値が高くなった模...

poor hands の解釈
酷使して悪かった、というユーモアなのかな。日本語でさよなら私の手、というのと英語でgood-bye my poor hands というのではだいぶニュアンスが違う。英語で言われると微笑んでしまいますね。

さようなら、私の手。と言ったらしい。最近知った。英語だとgood-bye my poor hands らしい。ロシア語で言ったのだろうか。いずれにせよ心に染みるなあ。。
